He serves as Vice-Chair of the Affiliate Council of the Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) -- a member of ESD’s Construction and Design Committee; the Energy and Environment Committee of BOMA International; and is a past Board member of the local chapters of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) and the U.S. Green Building Council. He is also an advisor to the Board of the Eastern Michigan chapter of the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE).
